BOTOX injections in the skin are a proven way to improve wrinkles on the forehead, while other patients have seen improvement in their crow’s feet or even lip lines. Dr. Mowbray uses a combination of localized cooling to the skin prior to the procedure and a very small needle to ensure maximal comfort during the procedure. The treatment typically lasts 30 minutes and the patient can return to work the same day. The BOTOX starts to work after three to four days, and the improvement usually lasts between three to four months, although longer times of improvement may be seen in patients who have repeated treatments in the same facial area.
