BOTOX injections in the skin are a proven way to improve wrinkles on the forehead, while other patients have seen improvement in their crow’s feet or even lip lines. 

Injections of small doses of BOTOX have been proven to be safe with rare side-effects.  The results can be quite dramatic, with improvement or disappearance of forehead wrinkles and flattening of the frown lines between the brows.

Dr. Mowbray uses a combination of localized cooling to the skin prior to the injection, and a very small 30-gauge needle to ensure minimal discomfort from the procedure.  The procedure typically takes 15-30 minutes in the office, and the patient can return to work the same day.  The BOTOX starts to work after three to four days, and the improvement usually lasts between three to four months, although longer times of improvement are seen in patients who have repeated treatments to the same facial area. 

BOTOX injections are a great way to quickly reverse visible wrinkle lines caused by the underlying pulling action of the facial muscles.  Injection of Skin Fillers into deeper creases and wrinkles on the face are an another way to gain a more youthful appearance.
